First-time/Patients:Patient River of Health Acupuncture Clinic, Jon Weiler, Weiler Auto
Your first vist will take aproximatly 2 to 2.5 hours and about 1 hour to 1 and 15 minutes for any there after. When you arrive for your first acupuncture appointment, I will ask you to complete a comprehensive intake form. The acupuncture intake form asks questions about your current state of health, past illnesses, and family history. These questions are important because the holistic approach of Oriental medicine takes everything into account. Your current symptoms may not seem related to past health issues, but our bodies are complex landscapes and everything that happens to them leaves its mark. We have gowns available if we need you to remove clothing to access some acupuncture points on the body. Many of our patients bring shorts to change into.

Cancellation Policy:
Your time and ours is valuable. Please allow 24 hours' notice for cancellation of appointments. This allows us to schedule someone else in your cancelled time slot. Appointments cancelled without 24 hours' notice will be billed $25.

Personal Conduct:
ANY sexual remarks, misconduct, or advances will discontinue the appointment immediately and the full price for the service will still be owed. We have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Insurance Information:
The River of Health Acupuncture Clinic is a FortCare PPO provider. We are not
a provider within any other insurance network. Upon request, we can provide you the documentation needed to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that not all health plans cover acupuncture, and deductibles may apply. Click here for some questions to ask your insurance company.

Silence Please:
We ask that all cell phones and other communication devices be turned off prior to your treatment.

Your Privacy is Important:
Patient information and records are private and confidential, as outlined by HIPAA regulations. All patients receive written notice of privacy policies at their initial appointment.
